Are you a fan of Cinnamon Toast Crunch? Have you tried the new creamy cinnamon spread? It is EVERYTHING! Do you know what's even better? Pairing it with butter and making this easy cinnamon American buttercream.

I don't know about you, but we always keep a box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch at home. When I ran into this new product at Sam's Club, I knew I needed to buy it.

We got home, and the first thing we did was grab a spoon, LOL. I opened the jar and fell in love. This is the best decision Cinnamon Toast Crunch has made. As a baker and creative, I had to make buttercream with this cinnamon spread. It did not disappoint. It's super delicious, creamy, and easy to make.

You can find the Cinnamon Toast Crunch creamy cinnamon spread at your local Walmart or grocery store.

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) soft unsalted butter, room temperature

  • 1 lb powdered sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 4 tablespoons of Cinnamon Toast Crunch creamy cinnamon spread

  • 2 - 4 teaspoon heavy cream (optional, depending on your desired consistency)

  • 2 - 4 drops of brown food color gel (optional)

  1. Cream the softened butter and salt for about a minute using a hand or stand mixer.

  2. Add the powdered sugar to the butter in 2 - 3 batches, mixing on low speed to prevent a cloud of powdered sugar and a mess.

  3. Mix in the vanilla extract and cinnamon toast crunch creamy cinnamon spread.

  4. Add the heavy cream one teaspoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.

  5. Add 2 - 4 drops of brown food color gel to resemble the spread's color.

  6. You should have a nice even and fluffy consistency.

  7. Use as desired, as a filling, on cupcakes or cake.
